Stephen & Maree

Stephen and I met at a mutual friend's 16th  Birthday Party in 2005. We immediately became good friends and by June 2006 we were officially dating. Stephen and I also went to school next door to each other so we got through the stresses of year 11 and 12 together. Stephen proposed to me in December 2010 at my favourite picnic spot, in front of the water at Balmain Wharf. He packed eskys full of all my favourite foods and he gave a speech about how much he loved me and I instantly got butterflies. However, to my surprise instead of pulling out a ring box, Stephen gave me some beautiful diamond earrings. After being tricked, Stephen then blind folded me and reached into an esky he hid from me, got onto one knee and asked me to be his wife with a stunning engagement ring he designed with James. Obviously, I said yes.

Before seeing James, Stephen shopped around for a month at various jewellers and found the process very stressful. It was hard to find exactly what he was looking for. He was referred to James by his brother and cousin and told he would be able to assist with the process - and he did !

James goes out of his way to do anything possible to make us happy and the experience less stressful. He helped Stephen design the engagement ring he was looking for and matched it with a lovely wedding band. He even ensured Stephen got a diamond too. We would tell other couples to save their time and money and go straight to James because other jewellers tell you what is best and with James he guides and assists you into finding what you want rather than what he wants. Everyone at Forever Diamonds is friendly, easy to talk to and happy to be involved in making your wedding day/special occasion great.

Stephen and Iwere very lucky to win a wedding competition on the radio - our perfect day was on January 29, 2012 and it was absolutely beautiful. We got married in front of our family and friends at our local church and spent the night partying away at Albert Palais in Leichhardt. Everything was exactly the way we planned it we had so much fun we couldn't believe our wedding day had arrived and we were husband and wife. Our honeymoon was amazing we spent 8 days at Tokoriki Island in Fiji in a beach bure and 8 days in Krabi, Thailand. It was so relaxing especially after all the wedding plans.
